Mike and Delci Band

Well Known covers and reimagined classics

The Mike and Delci Band play smartly curated cover songs and reimagined classics, blending genres and musical styles into a vibe all their own. Mixing rock, country, blues, R&B and jazz favorites old and new, the band galvanizes behind the amazing vocal talents of Delci and the musical direction of long-time San Diego guitarist and producer Michael Head. They are tight and focused but also feel free to stretch out and musically expand on the themes of these well known songs. Beginning as a duo with a wide variety setlist tailored for a multitude of events, the full band - with Tony Sandoval on bass and Rob Garbo on drums - takes that musical diversity and sculpts into a uniquely "San Diego sound" all their own.

The band has performed at multiple house concerts, local clubs including Navajo Live and Deano's Pub; also private and semi-private events including Mission Bay Boat and Ski Club, where the band will be performing at their upcoming 2026 Memorial Day Bash. The duo began performing three years ago at House of Blues where Michael had a long time residency (10 years), and now plays regular shows at Trevi Hills Winery and private events including a  wedding at Mermaid Valley Vineyard. They have also performed at well known San Diego venues Winston's, Wonderland, North Bar and large events such as the East Village Bluesfest and even headlined last year's Oceanside Artwalk.
