Aaron Markland is an award-winning and published songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer born and raised in San Diego, California. Aaron has a vast catalogue of original and cover songs spanning a variety of styles including rock, funk, blues, Raggae and acoustic roots. Aaron has five full-length albums to date and he has performed on renowned stages like the World Famous Whiskey A Go Go, the Grand Paddock stage at the Del Mar Fair and mainstage of the Ocean Beach Street Fair.  Aaron has been categorized with artists such as Ben Harper, G. Love, Leon Bridges, Hozier and Slightly Stoopid.
 
In 2014, Aaron and his family-band side-project MARKLAND recorded their debut album at Cabeza Records. He teamed with brother Justin (bass), his Dad Steve (harmonica), and "uncle" Randy Smith (drums) and with Michael Head on the mixing board they finished the entire project in just one month. The album mixed rock, folk, alternative and blues, and detailed life in San Diego. MARKLAND was signed to Crucial Publishing and their music has been played on radio stations across the Southwest.
